EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY PROVIDES INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIPS
Eastern Washington University, located in the town of Cheney, provides a range of scholarship opportunities for undergraduates on campus. The New International Student Scholarship is an award ranging from $1,500 to $4,500 that is given to freshman and transfer students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. EWU offers 10 ISS awards annually.
International students can also apply for the International Ambassador Scholarship, an award worth approximately $5,600. In addition to having a GPA of at least 3.2, student need to show an interest and potential for helping to internationalize EWU campus and community. Recepients of the Ambassador Scholarship must complete 20 hours of pre-approved community service or volunteer involvement.
All scholarships are reviewed on an annual basis and require full-time enrollment in the university.
