Hiram College, located in the northeastern region of Ohio, is a small private liberal arts institution known for its academic excellence and its focused research institutes. By submitting a general application for admission, international students are automatically considered one of Hiram’s merit-based Global Scholarships. Global Scholarships are international student financial awards that cover a maximum of $19,000 per year and that can be renewed annually for up to four years of study.
Global scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic preparation and performance, standardized test scores, class rank, teacher evaluations, personal essay, and individual skills and talents. The strongest emphasis is placed on academic performance.
